Worked in the Reliance Petrochemical IT division under the Application Development team. Project was to develop a “PSF Data Automation Application using PENTAHO for VENDAVO application” which involved automation of the PSF data by means of data mining, data analytics and business intelligence tools.
This application manages and manipulates the whole data set without any human intervention.
The whole process became error free with no redundancies and inconsistencies in the data.
Initially 3 technicians were required to carry out the whole process but now with this application in use none of them is required.
The amount of data is no bar now which was a constraint earlier.
Designed the whole backend using SQL and Frontend using PENTAHO.
Significantly reduced the overall time and cost increasing the efficiency of the whole process by more than 97%.
Technologies used: Business Analytics and intelligence tool PENTAHO, SQL, DBMS, Vendavo Profit Analyzer and Price Manager
