• Internship during the 2nd year of college - Worked on a project to develop a recommender system using SVD++ using R, where the goal was to look for ways to reduce the running time of the system. The code was developed in both R and C++ for comparison and identifying bottlenecks in the program. The code made using C++ executed 10 times faster as compared to that in R.
