I saw myself becoming a Cardiac Surgeon, 10 years down the line in 2017. It seemed appropriate because of my interest in Biology as a whole, especially the Human Heart. But sadly couldn't get through the Entrance Exams. By an unlikely turn of fate, I got admission to an Engineering College with Computer Science Engineering as my major. I gave up C++ programming for Biology in 11th standard but it came back to me anyway. I didn't do much during the first one and half years as far as programming is concerned. Then Covid happened and we all were locked down in our Houses. With almost half of my College completed and an ample amount of time every day, I was wondering what should I do to get a job after I graduate. And I did what everyone else around me was doing, learning Data Structures and Algorithms. I started with DS/Algo using python, then dabbed my hands in Frontend Development using React, going on to jump directly to Deep Learning (dear reader, please don't do that), ending 2021 by making a simple Android Application. Recently, in the first month of 2022, I wrote my first API for a note-taking app and it was the first time I thought "okay, this is interesting, can I add more routes now? what if my app is not able to handle all incoming requests?". I have been trying to learn new things every day, trying to find that spark people talk about in their posts. My specialties include learning new skills and problem-solving. So far I have Python, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, Git/GitHub, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js under my belt. I'm still enthusiastically grabbing onto any new Programming Languages(Go, maybe in the near future), principles, or methods to write readable code that I can integrate into the coding web in my head.
