About

I thrive where technology meets humanity- building equitable pathways in STEAM through education, creativity, entrepreneurship, and ethical innovation. Previously, as Growth Lead at Applied Computing Foundation, I mentored and supported 20+ teen startups like enVibrant (helping environmental NGOs access resources effectively), launched the annual Future Impact Challenge (a global stage for sustainable tech entrepreneurship by Gen Z), handled operations with precision so the team could thrive, and built curricula that made Python and web dev feel like storytelling- complete with Pokémon flashcards and ecosystem quizzes. In volunteering, I judge the future of innovation as Lead Judge for the Conrad Challenge Global and China (shaping solutions in Health/ Nutrition, Cyber-Security & Technology), serve as a GHC 23 Scholar Reviewer for AnitaB.org (opening doors for women+ in tech), review curricula for Code.org's AI/ Computer Vision courses (because ethics belongs in every algorithm), and mentor at Rewriting the Code (resume reviews with empathy). I’m a Microsoft Fix-a-thon Champion (out of 21,000!), and creator of an AI Speech Coach that won Qoom's Audience Choice Award. When I'm not building, I'm a published author, scriptwriter, and poet (How Blue Is My Sapphire, Elizabeth, Dust), because tech needs more soul. After my Grace Hopper Celebration awakening, I realized: technology without diversity is like code without comments- hard to understand and destined to fail. That’s why I coach teams to build with communities, not for them; advocate for sustainability as a core tech competency; write stories where the narrator looks like the kid who never saw themselves in STEAM; and inspire to inspire. 🍃 Human Stuff • Tree-dweller • Recovering perfectionist • Disney fangirl (yes, I cry at "Coco") • Motivating by example • Caregiver for a CKD Dad, nephrectomy Mom Let's Connect If You: - Believe tech should solve real problems and spark joy. - Want to geek out about ethical AI, education equity, or which library protects the most burned books? - Just because. P.S. My LinkedIn bio has more drafts than my unfinished novel. 🌿

  • ~ Making Things Happen (Without Breaking Them) ~
  • 🥬 Leading the Big Switch – Making sure everything moves smoothly from Applied Computing Foundation to LettuceBuild without missing a beat. Think of me as the house coordinator, but for a whole company, keeping track of all the important stuff, making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle, and helping everyone adjust to their new digital home.
  • 🥬 Building a Smarter Way to Track Students – Spearheading the pilot launch for our new student progress dashboard and LMS, which is basically like giving our team superpowers to spot when students need help before they fall behind. Less guesswork, more personalized support, and (hopefully) happier, more successful learners.
  • 🥬 Making Our Website & CRM Actually Work for Us – Right now, I’m knee-deep in building LettuceBuild’s website and CRM from scratch. No cookie-cutter templates here— I’m making sure it solves problems, looks good, and doesn’t make people want to throw their laptops out the window.
  • 🥬 The Ultimate Goal: Working Myself Out of the Job – Here’s the fun part: I’m designing everything— processes, docs, tools, LOOMs— so that when I eventually step away later this year, the company won’t even notice I’m gone. No single-point failures, no tribal knowledge black holes— just a well-oiled machine that keeps running fast without me.
