• With a new role, I was responsible to introduce and manage ‘Design' as a process in the existing Software Development Lifecycle.
• During my tenure as an only full stack designer, I worked on over 8 projects with different teams specialised in different domains in the hospitality industry.
• In my initial days, I had the golden opportunity to work on various projects. Projects needed me to do a UX Audit, solve existing problems while others had to be conceptualised as POC. With such exposure, I could adapt, test and modify my process with different deadlines and requirements.
• Requirement capturing is followed by exciting research work about the users, competitions and upcoming innovations in the industry. With all necessary data captured, it is important to document the findings, build user personas and create user flows.
• The ideation process starts with brainstorming and sketching multiple ideas. The idea is to come up with multiple solutions, to explore as many options as possible. Followed to wireframe, visual designs and create prototypes to test ease of use. My knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript helped me transforming designs into finished products by working closely with the developers.
