Kiran Ambatipudi — Co-Founder
My laboratory focuses on applying mass spectrometry-based proteomics to characterize the role of milk proteins and lipids in the pathophysiology of bovine mastitis. We are also investigating the application of bioactive (e.g., proteins, lipids) on milk fat globules to develop milk and milk products as functional food, including using fat globules as a probiotic delivery vehicle to modulate the gut microbiome. Additionally, my group works on understanding the development of resistance and progression of breast cancer.
