• HTTP service with DB sharding
• Designed(LLD) & developed an HTTP service(server-side APIs) that handled HTTP requests for the CRUD operations on multiple relational DBs resulting from the key-based sharding of a centralized DB.
• Enhanced the performance of the service by introducing a thread-safe, scalable & efficient DB connection pool.
• Tested the service under the load of 2,000 concurrent users(16,000 concurrent HTTP requests) ramping up within 30 sec.
• WebRTC media server
• Developed a native Windows WebRTC application, when introduced in a video conferencing environment, transforms the existing mesh architecture into star architecture.
• The application, acting as a selective forwarding unit(SFU), relays media streams, received from each peer to every other peer. It reduces the total number of peer connections from ⁿC₂ -> n, where n is the number of participants.
• Simulated 1->n broadcast communication with the server in between n peers.
