Worked on optical character detection and recognition on aadhar cards using computer vision and ocr software.
Created an end to end model from scratch in one month which takes input adhaar card images and outputs a dataframe of relevant fieds of interest like name ,sex ,aadhar no ,etc.
Used YOLO for object detection and Tesseract for character recognition. For coding used the help of several python libraries like PIL , pandas , openCV ,etc.
Used transfer learning of darknet framework with pretrained darknet53 conv74 weights to train the model.
