• As part of the FIED IIM Kashipur incubation cell, I contributed to DRISHTI - an acceleration and incubation program supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. • I led the Pyomancer project, which aimed to create innovative antibacterial protein complexes to address the World Health Organization's top priority issue of antimicrobial drug resistance. Our team designed a new antimicrobial called 'Seekercins', leveraging bacteriophages from the river Ganga to specifically target and eliminate multidrug-resistant bacteria.
• Our efforts were recognized with a gold medal in the 'International Genetically Engineered Machine' (iGEM) contest held in Massachusetts, where we outperformed 249 teams from 36 countries in the synthetic biology innovation program. Additionally, we secured top-five funding from DBT India and garnered significant media attention from outlets such as Times of India and Amar Ujala for our successful participation.
