• First team was a product engineering team, starting from an idea of helping people who do not have a car, drive for Uber, by helping them get a car. Led the engineering side, started from an idea, design sprint, followed by an MVP, launched in one city, few A/B experiments, once we found a product market fit according to metrics, we rolled it out to more cities, then nationally across the US, then internationally to over 16 countries. The team had a big impact on business through the global supply hours.
• Second team was in the autonomous division. Leading the engineering side on multiple initiatives on Big data, Data intelligence, Machine Learning and Machine Learning infrastructure. These initiatives were providing critical functionalities to most of the teams in the autonomous division.

Some of the key areas include cloud computing such as Compute Autoscale which allows cloud services to scale up and down according to demand, Resource Manager Engine which is an engine to deploy and clone a complete cloud environment from a directed acyclic graph representation and DB auto backup which automatically backups DBs according to a schedule.
