• Working in platform team which maintains and provides authentication and authorization of users into our multiple products.
• Designed and developed SCIM functionality for our customer organizations to allow them to add their users in our application seamlessly.
• Optimized 6 API's which were very high latency to reduce their P99 latency from ~9 seconds to <100ms by reducing the DB calls from the service by ~98%.
• Developed more than 30 robust API's with 99.99% availability, < 100ms P99 latency and wrote exhaustive UT's and FT's for the same to ensure SLA.
• Optimized the pipeline build times of our services by saving more than 250s in execution of unit tests by running the tests in parallel leveraging pytest framework.
• Added persistent connection pooling in to mysql server to reduce connection drop error rates in the services.
• Designed and developed a modal end to end in our login flow to gather some missing profile details of the users by creating RESTful API's and implemented its frontend using django templates.
• Made framework level improvements for our services to utilise persistent connection from our application servers to the RDS instances which resulted in 67% drop in overall API latency of our services resulting in savings of over $130,000.
• Designed and implemented an authorization system for internal users in customer instances with JIT view only roles and temporary break-glass role for edit access which is operated by the customers.
• Designed and implemented a Fast API service for customer facing audit logs which involves distributed extracting loading and translating of hundreds of thousands of logs and sending a mail to customers in seconds.
