I have 5+ years of experience in Designing, Developing, Testing, Deploying, Monitoring, and Maintaining the backend microservices. During my time at Nurture.Farm, I played a lot of foosball while contributing to developing their retail platform for India's Agro retailers. As my journey progressed, I transitioned to the platforms team, where I played a key role in building the Offer Engine. Had represented my college at ACM-ICPC India Regionals. Technologies used so far -> C++, JAVA, SQL, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka Queues, Grafana, Prometheus, AWS, Airflow. 1. As a part of the Platform Services Team :
→ Building Offers Engine to reward our consumers across all platforms based on their actions like Product ordering, signup, service booking, etc.
→ Working on the Laminar project to make it open source. Laminar is a framework for the auto-code generation that enables the developers to make a new micro-service with CRUD operations in just ~15 min along with deployment in K8.

2. As a part of nurture.retail team :
→ Was one of the starting engineers in the team.
→ Built multiple scalable microservices and features with the team from scratch.
→ Scaled the total GMV through the retail app from 2 lakhs a week to 4 crores a day.
→ Optimized the existing APIs, Cron jobs, and DB calls to reduce the server downtime due to an exponential increase in user base.
→ Actively contributed to code/design reviews, product JAMs.
→ Collaborating with the Product team, App team, SAP team, and QA team to enable better communication and remove friction in the process.

Handled the BackEnd for AutoKYC Service that verifies the two-wheeler Driving License of the customer. Technologies used: JAVA, PostgreSQL, AWS S3.
1. Redesigned a new database for KYC Revamp that eliminated existing data loss, enabled vertical scalability and Data Analytics.
2. Optimized and Implemented new code patterns that reduced the Customer wait time from ~60 min to ~4 min.
