• As the Founder/CTO of MapAI, I am leading the charge to revolutionise geospatial analysis with artificial intelligence. Our innovative system uses generative AI to perform GIS tasks and spatial analysis through natural language, making complex geospatial data accessible and actionable. In my role as the head of Research and Development, I lead a talented team of software engineers, developers, and ML/AI scientists, driving advancements that push the boundaries of what is possible in the field of geospatial technology.

• At the Consumer Data Research Centre, In addition to conducting research in human geography, my responsibilities included overseeing on-premises technical infrastructure, which featured a CentOS Linux cluster running Apache Spark, RStudio Server, and PostgreSQL databases. I also managed the database for the centre at the Jill Dando Institute Research Lab at University College London. I was instrumental in managing and revamping the CDRC data research repository rebuilding it from the ground up while enhancing its functionality and user experience. Additionally, I created and maintained the Footfall Data and Footfall Index, ensuring the accurate and reliable management of this key dataset. My role was crucial in supporting advanced data research and analysis through robust technical solutions and comprehensive data stewardship.

• As the key associate in the Knowledge Transfer Partnership program, I played a pivotal role in enhancing Transport for London’s (TfL) expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating collaborative teams through Organisational Network Analysis. This project, in partnership with University College London, aimed to provide deeper insights into the operation of project systems within major infrastructure projects. The research revealed the critical role of processes and systems within clusters of actors involved in project design and delivery. It highlighted the ‘self-organising’ nature of these project systems and identified gaps where significant groups of actors were overlooked during resource procurement. This work contributed to a better understanding of how project systems operate and informed improvements in collaborative project management practices.
