• Responsible for developing solutions to enhance the overall experience in supply chain management.
• Developed in-house Automated Scheduling Engine to systemize dock allocation. This has helped to reduce dock to stock time, optimize costs, improve scheduling accuracy, planning and resource utilization.
• Re-design Goods Inwarding workflow to enforce separation of concerns across services, reduce latency and handle service failures.
• Fine tune the applications (thread management, memory management, SQL queries) to optimize server resources (web and database). This exercise reduced costs by ~50 percent while improving the response times.
• Set up alerting and monitoring mechanisms to ensure SLAs in various critical flows are met.
