• o Practice Lead – Deep Learning, Recommendation Systems and Edge Computing – I lead the practices for deep learning and edge computing. Responsibilities include capability development, asset development, client engagement and consulting and strategy support to senior management. I work closely with global product development and product management teams and India Computer Vision and Signal processing practice.
• o Chief Data Scientist -Video Analytics and Edge Computing – Jan 2020-Date – Jointly led the data science implementation of major global product development for video computing on edge. Led the development of a product with capabilities for handling multiple video streams, multiple models, object tracking, contextual domain based processing etc. capable to run both on GPU machines as well as small edge devices like Jetson Nano / TX2/ Xavier.
• o Chief Data Scientist (August 2018-March 2019) in an implementation of a multimodal recommendation system for a major fashion brand in India. The multimodal recommendation system combines images and textual information for a real time deep learning based recommendation. This was the first production implementation of Recommendence product from Deep Learning Labs (see below)
• o Chief Data Scientist (May 2018-June 2019) of GBS Deep Learning Labs – an organizational sub-unit focussed on building products using Deep Learning. Two of the products were Recommendence and Fashionsence. The first product is an implementation of a Deep learning multimodal recommendation system and the second is a “complete-the-look” for retail products where the fashion sense is learnt from external databases.
• o Chief Data Scientist (Jan 2017-Dec 2019) in engagement with a major South Korean Retailer for building a Conversational Agent Based Recommendation System for Shopping Advisor. Building a Watson Conversation based conversational agent with a recommendation engine providing the recommendations based on a combination of algorithms.

Built a Machine Learning model using geo-spatial temporal data using distributed computing on Spark. Under review for invention disclosure.
• o Network Analytics – Initial POC for creation of an offering in Ericsson offering on pre-emptive services. Near real time (~15 mins) early (15 mins – 60 mins) prediction of network performance.
• o Service Analytics – Near real time prediction (~15 mins) of workforce management processes and SLA violation. Use of Machine Learning algorithms like Logistic Regression and Random Forests. This is currently implemented in a few FSO organizations in Ericsson. Currently under review by patent board.
