• Integrated the acquired Embark team into Apple and was a "directly responsible individual" for the Transit project.
• February 2015 to May 2016: Managed the Maps App Team, which consisted of three engineering teams and 25 people. We were responsible for the client engineering of Maps on iPhone, iPad, Watch, OS X, and CarPlay. Among other features, we shipped Transit and Nearby. We also brought Maps to Watch.
• July 2014 to Feb 2015: Managed an eight person client engineering team responsible for Apple Maps on iOS. Responsibilities included the Transit client and the majority of iOS Maps App features.
• August 2013 to July 2014: Managed a four person client engineering team responsible for the Transit feature in Apple Maps on iOS.

• Embark was acquired by Apple in 2013.
• We founded Embark to make it easier to get around cities using mobile phones. The Embark apps were designed to make it simple to get from A to B on mass transit.
• Millions of trips on mass transit were guided by Embark each month. In its heyday, Embark was featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes and TechCrunch and seen on national TV broadcasts in iPhone commercials.
• We bootstrapped the company for years and eventually raised money from BMW, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Deutsche Telekom, Lowercase, and others.
