Natarajan Raman has over 20+ years of experience in the software design, development and implementation of software primarily in the banking and finance segment. He has global exposure and has worked with very large organizations. He is passionate about mobile technologies and focuses on developing products on Android devices. He is co-author of the book “Learning Kotlin by building Android Applications”. He is an expert design trainer & consultant in applied design patterns, security patterns, big data & map reduce patterns, performance patterns, mobile patterns and complex event processing patterns. He leads all the social initiatives at Patterns. He is the co-founder of Dream India in 2002, while he was still in the college. Dream India: Inspired by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam bunch of youngsters started the journey of their life time - Dream India. The vision and mission is to to see a world where each and every individual can be part of the journey to serve others - by sparing just TWO HOURS of their time without any compromise to their professional life. We, a group of people, working across India, share a dream.A dream of a developed India. An India free of poverty and illiteracy. An India where the gap between the haves and the have-nots is justifiable. An India which realizes it's full potential in every domain. At present these are not happening.
There is a lot of work to be done if these are to be achieved within an acceptable time frame. And by saying "lot of work" we are actually underplaying the amount of work to be done. Many of us are still apathetic to the needs of the poor man on the roads. We still don't do our part to the society. We still splurge money on our own needs while these underprivileged still struggle to get a day's meal. This apathy and obliviousness to all social evils takes us nowhere. If we are to achieve this dream, we have to act. And act now!
This organization has been formed keeping Indian professionals in mind. We strongly believe that it is in the youth and in the professionals of India that her future lies in. Whether she prospers and becomes a world leader or fades away as just another country in the world, lies in the hands of India's huge youth population.
