Education is a powerful tool to alleviate poverty and empower society. Dakshana is a non-profit organisation working towards alleviating poverty through education by helping under-privileged students of rural India prepare for IIT entrance test-JEE and Medical entrance test-NEET. Dakshana offers a two-year scholarship program in conjunction with the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas under an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the MHRD, Government of India at 6 schools across India, a one-year residential scholarship program independently at its campus at Pune and a two-year scholarship program in conjunction with NESTS (National Education Society for Tribal Students) at Eklavya Model Residential School, Bhopal.
