What do you miss out on if you don't have actionable data? Relying on gut-feel to take decisions is just confirming your own beliefs. And if you do what you did, you get what you got. In my career I worked in aviation, airlines, hospitality, road transport and data analytics. My passion is helping people/organisations to innovate smartly. Change is rapid and adaptability is key, so breaking down silos and old "ways of working" of many industries is important to reach success, like I did the last 25 years in the aviation industry and more recent in AI Data Analysis. I co-founded DataSquirrel, a SAAS platform enabling managers without tech skills to analyse any data and helping to speed up ad-hoc data reconnaissance, cleaning, analysis and reporting. AirFi ( https://airfi.aero ), that I co-founded in 2012, is improving the passenger experience and ancillary revenue inflight by providing a wireless Mall in the Sky (streaming to Passengers' own device). It is helping catering companies and airlines to increase onboard sales, helps the crew improving service and selling, and delivers efficiency of and data on pre-, in- and post-flight processes.
