• As senior technical lead i took upon the ownership of ensuring code quality is high in the team (Autos) i am working. I worked upon creating tasks for team to upon during sprints by auditing the code we have. I also worked on making a single interface called Store between Frontend and Backend to ensure common code resides at one place, high quality code can be shared and reviewed, duplicate code is not created.
• I worked on improving SEO for Autos. I ensured right technical solutions were employed in code architecture to make sure code is extensible and easily maintainable. During the process i learnt splunk and has helped the team in setting up the dashboards for different scenarios like 404 error rate. Due to easy to scale/manage solution we iterated over couple of solutions which eventually resulted in 80% increase of referral traffic from search engines.
• I participate in 100+ code reviews for every quarter. These code reviews has to ensure code quality and right solution for the problem developer is solving. Technologies reviewed upon were javascript, PHP, Mustache templates, nodejs, java.
• I worked on rewriting Autos API. It used JAVA API, protobuf messaging, Redis. My task was to plan and get it executed with the team for a bunch of use case API's
• I worked upon UI refresh for Autos Make, Model and Trim pages for smartphone. I primarily contributed on Lead generating modules like contact dealer and get a quote form on smartphone. My hack idea of having a get a quote button has increased the CTR by 100%. I used to coordinate with the product team to prioritize bugs and work with the team to get all tasks done for the launch.
• I led the effort to generate performance reports for Commerce properties of Yahoo (Autos, Homes). I had to digest different metrics that were used in the web and come up with the ones that made sense for our properties. I worked with web page test, Googles Page Speed to come up with issues we had on the site.

• As Technical Lead I worked primarily on Entertainment sites like Music (https://music.yahoo.com/), Movies (https://movies.yahoo.com/) and on a project that integrated Tumblr platform with Media Sites
• We powered Music site with echonest feed which provided rich feed about music entities. We revamped the site to accommodate Music entities like artist, album pages. My role was to work with Backend and finalize on schema that maps feed to different entities based on the mocks we had, drive the kanban board to meet the MVP of the product, participate in technical discussions and code reviews. Eventually we launched the site much ahead of the schedule with no compromise on the quality.
• We worked with multiple partners like Iheart, VEVO, Warner and spotify to launch different features on Music. I led the team that worked with Spotify developer team to come up with technical solution that is scalable to launch on different domains on Yahoo. This feature is primarily used on EU Music sites now. We integrated videos from VEVO and warner and also mapped them to artists which were powered by echonest. I was involved in UI refresh for video, artist pages along with the plan for integrating different provider data into a single entity.
• Revamping Entertainment Sites UI on LEGO platform - I worked on moving entertainment sites from legacy platforms to new platform that used new technologies like Mustache, Sass, separation of cacheable and non cacheable combo js and made our pages available behind a reverse proxy (Apache Traffic Server). I was also recognized as "Lego Expert" for my contributions to the platform and the knowledge i had on it.

My role was to figure out how recipes can be perceived data structure wise and write the code for the same. We also changed the UI for recipes to accommodate different features.
