I’m Sourav Mishra, an ex-IT engineer who turned his passion for photography into a thriving business. During my B.Tech days, I picked up high-end retouching, which came in handy when I decided to switch gears from coding to mastering photography. Instead of taking the traditional route of expensive courses or colleges, I launched GlamFlame Edu. Through GlamFlame Edu, I invited world-class photographers to conduct workshops in India and the Middle East. This not only helped me learn from the best but also turned into my first profitable venture. COVID threw a curveball, but it gave me the push to expand GlamFlame into a full-fledged creative studio offering photography, cinematography, and brand communication. Today, we work with some of the biggest names in the industry, like Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla, and Arvind Group. In 2023, I built our very own 7,000 sq. ft. studio, one of the best in town, both in size and aesthetics. While working with big brands is great, I have a soft spot for startups and love collaborating with founders to create unique campaigns and killer brand identities. Right now, I’m leading a talented team of 40, and we’re growing at a solid 30% year-on-year, generating an 8-figure revenue annually.
