About

Equally passionate about building sustainable businesses as much as tinkering with mobile apps, electronics and performance, reliability and security of tech products. I founded a hyperlocal aggregation app - Greplr - that got acquired, and went on to build Coding Blocks, a bootstrapped edtech venture with the mission to make engineering undergrads ready for tech industry. Coding Blocks has been running for over 6 years profitably, reaching $1.5M in ARR. I have also had the experience of heading the mobile engineering team at Zomato while we went from 50 to 500 cities, adding more than a dozen major features, all while shaving 10mb of app size, reducing app start and load times by 25% and improving app build times by 95%. I have also been a Lead Engineer in Android team of Target - a $100B sized Fortune50 retailer in USA. I am passionate about EdTech, Retail and Fintech, and especially so for app-based digital and social products. Currently I am dabbling in upskilling of senior engineering talent in Indian startup ecosystem, while I am a tech advisor to a handful of young startups.
