"To succeed, you've got to not just give people what they want but you've got to give people what they want, even before they know they want it". This basically sums up the kind of ideologies I have, an innovator, a tech-enthusiast, a guy who loves learning new things and applying them. Ever since writing my first "hello world" program, I have been obsessed with coding and the idea of using it to solve practical problems. Throughout high school, I latched onto anything related to programming with the same fascination that drove me as a kid. This passion has brought me to the university where I am currently at and it was here that I learned how much there is yet to learn. It made me believe " the more we know, the more we know 'we don't know' ". It's often said, the most beautiful love stories are the ones which happen unexpectedly. Well, in my case that's definitely true, a course, which I had in my curriculum and in which I had to merely pass would someday turn into the love of my life was really unexpected and I am glad it did. This journey hasn't been anything but magical and i am really grateful for that.

● Developed ETL data pipeline to read data from various data sources including the streaming sources viz. SQS and Dynamo Streams and ingested into S3. Applied transformations on the ingested dataset using Spark processing engine and loaded into Data lake tables. Ensured data governance with respect to data security, privacy and retention.
● Created automated data validation mechanism for entire data warehouse which saved around 2+hours of manual effort each day.
● Developed Quicksight dashboards to visualise and perform analysis on the transformed datasets.
● Revamped the old data warehouse which included adding data from new services too, it resulted in a highly improved and reliable data warehouse which saw 18% more accuracy and 21% more number of records for the already existing tables and had 12 new tables as well which eventually would be used to generate promotion related insights.
● Wrote unit tests and integration tests for various services and increased overall test coverage from 46% to 93%.
● Created alarms for all services which automatically cuts tickets in case of failures, due to this we were able to catch many bugs which were getting ignored earlier and I fixed these bugs as well.
● Resolved 100+ tickets related to service failures and data issues during my on-call, , raised 170+ code reviews.
