• Comprehensive training is undertaken in different sales and support functions of the company. Apart from gaining knowledge about the financial products; suitability of products and its distribution strategy for different target groups are learnt while on field.
• Various projects were undertaken while being trained in different verticals for understanding the nitty- gritty. Prominent projects are- Understanding differentiation of product offerings of DHFL Pramerica with respect to different Life Insurance companies which has tie up with Kangra Bank in Dharmashala region, subsequently suggest ways to increase the sales of DPLI.
• Another project in HR vertical was undertaken which encompassed understanding and implementing recruitment strategy on different online recruiting sites. Suggestions were recommended to streamline the process.
• Under Behtar India, a Marketing and Social initiative by the company in association with NDTV India; operational, marketing, event management aspects of the campaign were being handled.

• The project was to understand the impact of 4G services provided at the Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) stores at !dea and its competitors. The whole idea was to understand the parameters which affect the satisfaction of the users related to 4G and implement the best practises at !dea stores. A primary survey was being undertaken at Bangalore, Mysore, Kochi and Hyderabad. The sample consisted of !dea, Airtel, Vodafone 4G and non-4G users. Exploratory study was conducted to understand the parameters which affect a consumer while buying a 4G SIM and factors which resist a user from switching to 4G despite having a 4G compatible handset when the service is free of cost. Later, questionnaire was developed and statistical tools like regression analysis, cross tabs descriptive analysis was performed to understand the relationships between various factors which were identified in exploratory survey. For eg. prior communication about promotional offers on 4G and prior experience came out to be an important factor. Its affect was studied on users' buying intention.
• 512 users were interviewed during 2 months in 3 cities and substantial recommendations were made to the company which were implemented at their COCO stores.

• I have worked as a summer trainee in the Molecular Biology lab. Apart from learning techniques like PCR, automated genome sequencing, HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) typing, CV (Chorionic Villi) cleaning, working in the lab of one of the biggest medical institute of India gave me an opportunity to come in contact with diversified cases and learn differential interpretation of the result obtained. Some of the genetic diseases I have worked on in the lab are- Cystic Fibrosis, Fragile-X syndrome, Beta Thalassemia, Erythroblastosis foetalis.

• The company is the leader in the space of individual preparation and filing Income Tax Returns. During my tenure as an intern, I generated content for the company in the form of newsletters, articles for the website and structured the response for the automatic mails to be sent to the clients. Additionally, I was also in charge of their digital campaign on facebook. The job also en-comprised of making product tours and power point presentations for their newly introduced services which were put up as assistance tools on their website.
