• Level AI is a San Francisco based startup innovating in the Voice AI space. The company is backed by top VCs and was a part of Stanford's incubator program StartX.
• I was the founding member of the engineering team, tasked with building product architecture, and backend services. The startup went through a pivot in 2018, hence I worked on two products in my time at level.
• The first product was a social networking platform specifically for financial news and decision making. The product was available on Android, iOS and Web. Working on this product:
• Developed backend API services using Python and Flask.
• Built features such as network graph, topic recommendation, and peer to peer recommendation.
• Key technologies used: Python, Flask, MongoDB, Google Cloud
• The second product is a voice-enabled assistant to automate workflows for enterprise workers. The product has various use cases from logging events to customer service. As an analogy, the company is building Alexa for Enterprise. Working on this product:
• Lead the backend team.
• Designed a distributed monolith with three major services, ASR, NLP, and User Application. The user application was written in Django and made use of ASR and NLP services to solve for use cases like real-time assist, voice-driven inventory management, etc.
• Developed an integrated service with RASA for real-time intent and entity analysis.
• Integrated voice AI systems with industry-leading enterprise applications such as ServiceNow, Twilio, ServiceMax, etc.
• Developed a data pipeline that takes care of synthetic data generation, model training, annotation, and retraining with feedback.
• Integrated with leading cloud storage like Google Drive to feed data into a file driven knowledgebase.

• Reduced the turn around time of a B2B bulk order registration from 10 minutes to 1 minute.

• Created digital content used to teach students across multiple centers nationwide for Python, Django, Git, and Machine Learning.
• The content was designed to explain concepts of programming with an analogy to real-life examples to make it easier for the students to learn new technology.
• Designed a set of hands-on projects for the students with the aim to mock real-world day to day applications on a small scale. This made learning new technology fun and easy.
