I'm Delhiite & have survived the sweltering heat and bustling streets of this city. I hustled hard and scored my Bachelor of Honours degree from the University of Delhi way back in '99. I then went on to win the title of Chartered Accountant in 2004 and Company Secretary in 2006. I have been a part of the Financial Services Industry since 2004 have worked with Blue-Chip MNC's like BHW Home Finance, Fidelity Fund Management, Citi Financial Consumer Finance, Rabobank Private Equity Fund and now at PE Partners. In 2008, I joined the exotic world of Private Equity and Venture Capital. I have had the privilege of being a part of the Rabobank PE Fund (Growth Capital Fund) journey from its inception and was actively involved in the successful Fund Setup twice & Capital raise from LPs in 2008 (US$ 120ml) and 2014 (150mln). From 2008 to 2017, I wore multiple hats and was knee-deep in the world of deal-making, from investments to keeping an eye on those pesky portfolios, all the way to successful exits. Well, after a long and tiring corporate stint, I finally decided to take a break from the daily grind and moved on to a new Journey @ PE Partners. Since then, I have been Advising to the Business community one important aspect of Business i.e., “Fundraising is an extreme sport, Be Cautious” So, If you are you thinking of trying your hand at fundraising? I have just one word of advice for you: DON'T. Unless, of course, you have an insatiable desire for rejection after rejection. Fundraising is more like a wild rollercoaster ride with unexpected twists and turns. YOU MUST leave the job to the seasoned professionals.
