Karttikeya currently serves as the Founder & CEO of SigIQ.ai, on the mission to build AI tutors for democratizing access to personalized 1:1 education for students worldwide. He was recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2025 in consumer technology for the impact of SigIQ's products across US & India. Karttikeya holds a Ph.D. in AI from UC Berkeley, where he was mentored by artificial intelligence pioneer, Prof. Jitendra Malik. He has held research roles at Google AI (contributing to the Bard team), Facebook AI Research, and Stanford Vision Lab. During his PhD, Karttikeya published over 40+ research papers, across all major AI conferences that has been cited over 7000+ times. Earlier, Karttikeya graduated summa cum laude in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. During his research career, he has has worked with the several reputed AI researchers internationally -- Prof. Yoshua Bengio (MILA, Canada), Prof. Pascal Fua (EPFL, Switzerland), and Prof. Yoichi Sato (UTokyo, Japan). He also actively engages in mentorship and has advised over 10+ masters & undergraduate students in AI during his PhD at UC Berkeley. Before, he graduated summa cum laude from IIT Kanpur in India with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
