I worked on a fascinating research project under the supervision of Professor Vijay Laxmi. This project presented a unique opportunity for me to learn and grow as infosec enthusiast, and a part of a DRDO backed project.
As a research assistant, I had the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities. These include:
Binary analysis and reverse engineering on vulnerable binaries: In this role, I use my technical skills and knowledge to analyze and understand the inner workings of binary files. This may involve reverse engineering techniques to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws and develop strategies to fix or mitigate these issues.
Automation of infrastructure systems: I am responsible for automating various infrastructure systems to increase efficiency and reduce the team's workload. This may include writing scripts and programs to automate tasks and testing and debugging these systems to ensure their smooth operation.
Network and system administration: I am also responsible for maintaining and managing the networks and systems that support the research project. This includes installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
