• After analysing lot of cybersecurity startups, and their shitty products. I decided to build my own solutions, and figure out how much complex these systems are. One of these ideas involved creating a comprehensive cybersecurity platform that incorporates SAST, SCA, and SECRET Scan functionalities. The platform also allows for full control over scanner logic, without the need to host the scanner on one's side. By simply defining controls in a YAML file, users can benefit from this system. Although I initially planned to sell this platform, I realised that my business acumen was not yet fully developed, despite my strong technical and security background. As a result, I decided to apply to some of India's top startups in order to work with them.
• I also worked almost 15 hours every day on my personal project during the initial three months. Using NodeJs, NextJS, Python, Rust, AWS, and MongoDB, I was able to singlehandedly create this entire cybersecurity product in just two months.
