I have worked as Vulnerability Management Specialist for a FinTech company since February 2021. I have helped to create our Vulnerability remediation program spanning across 7 security engineering teams and over 1200 software engineers. I help our security engineers with organization of findings, triage, and ticket creation. I help our software engineers with prioritization, remediation, and ticket closure. Through these efforts, we are able to ensure the security of our organization. This has also helped our company become ISO-27001 compliant and is pushing us through our SOC 2 compliance audit. I have also helped to stand up and maintain our Security Champion program, which is a collaborative program between the Security & IT department and our Software Engineers. This program was started in June 2021 and since has grown to 60 elite engineers that that have dedicated a percentage of their weekly work to understanding and growing their security posture within the company. The program offers collaborative round tables, professional security training, and exposure to many of the scanning tools available to the security teams to ensure a secure and safe organization. I am the project admin for many of our issue tracking projects, service desks, and business intelligence cubes. I have worked hard on various workflows, intake requests, and our metrics gathering and publishing. Along with my team, we relay information gathered through these projects anywhere from daily to weekly to monthly depending on the project.
