About

My current research focus is on Interpretation of Deep Neural Networks. Understanding how and why a model makes a certain decision is at the heart to establish trust in the model. This is especially needed in critical applications such as Medical Diagnostics. We are trying to build a model that can provide multi-model explanations to why a model makes certain predictions. Other AI topics that excite me (and that I read about on a day-to-day basis) are Symbolic AI, Common Sense Reasoning, and Learning from limited data.
