• At Expedia, I managed a team of 27 people, including two Software Development Manager and one Sr. TPM, to develop big data solutions that help in detection of cyber attacks across Expedia Group Inc. The platform allows collection of terra bytes of security logs across Expedia, with aggregation, normalization and eventual training of machine learning models to detect security threats across the organization. Before Cyber Threat Detection, I was an Engineering Manager at Expedia’s Global Customer Operations technology team building an omni channel customer support tool for the company.

• At Expedia, I work as a Development Manager working for "Enterprise Risk and Security" group. We manage the Security Platform for the whole company. At a high level, we move tera bytes of logs around the Expedia Network and sift through data to look for security vulnerabilities. I manage a dedicated team of Platform SDEs committed to deliver the industry leading security platform to protect the company. Besides this, any other information on the subject will be a "trade secret".
• Before this, I was leading a team of SDEs who were developing the omni channel contact center solution to give Expedia Inc. the capability to look at 360 degree view of its customer - pre, in and post travel and allow a more personalized customer service.

• At IBM, I led a geographically distributed team to deliver a complex business modeling suite for IBM GTS business unit. The application was used to estimate cost of multibillion, multi geography strategic outsourcing deals. The application was designed on Eclipse RCP framework and used multi-threading to run millions of calculations to estimate cost. My technical team was spread across USA, Canada, Romania, India and China. My business partner team was spread across USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Hong Kong and Australia. It was a challenge to assemble and work in such a geographically spread teams. The project was critical to IBM and it estimated more than 80% of IBM's annual revenue/deals. IBM had failed multiple times in the implementation. IBM stakeholder business units included IBM Almaden Research Lab, IBM Sales and Distribution, IBM GTS and IBM GBS.

• I joined Calance in April 2004 as a Co Founder. My role at Calance varied from hands on tech guy, to technical architect, project manager and hiring/training coordinator. As with any start up, the role varied as Calance grew from 3 people to 130 people in 18 months. I played a significant role in helping the organization recruit some of the best people in IT and in laying the foundation of Java project delivery.
