• Have worked extensively on designing solutions and implementing tech for sku liquidation features. Impact was reduced business loss on quickly perishable items like milk etc.
• Have optimized the file/bulk uploading system for pricing features and made it more robust. Earlier system was throttling on csv file with ~1000 rows which after optimisation scales upto million rows.
• Have worked on introducing reusable insulated bags (instead of paper bags). Business feature aims to efficiently deliver frozen food items like ice cream, frozen meat etc without getting melted in summers. Impact was a huge positive customer experience.
• Developed various Hevo ETL pipelines.

• Have worked extensively on designing code quality framework/rules making use of SonarQube. Involves hosting, monitoring sonarqube cluster, designing rules and company wide adoption of our framework.
• Have worked on writing new DB-driver which acted as wrapper over our DB Layer. It is a generic, robust, extensible and scalable module which various teams in sharechat used to interact with BT/scylla/spanner based tables.
• E2E ownership of sharechat and moj events pipeline. Have optimized events codebase which helped save a total 150K $ per month across sharechat n moj.
• Previously part of the Jeet11 Backend Development team, which wrote Jeet11 backend codebase from scratch. I actively design and write backend microservices for the Jeet11 product. The services currently handle the traffic at 50k rpm average during peak times.
• Responsible for onboarding/mentoring the new joiners as they joined the jeet11 backend team. Also involves introducing best practices within the team and make sure they are followed religiously.

• Have co designed and implemented payment-service, which is fast, secure, generic and fault tolerant. Payment Service is being currently used across different products/tools in sharechat.
• Have co designed and implemented comment-like feature in ShareChat.
• Developed a redis caching layer to show search suggestions using prefix matching. Caching helped in mitigating the elastic search from throttling at peak times.
• Designed and built jobs to automate deployment of sharechat’s ads on Facebook and Google. Impact was reduced manual effort and the cost(CPI) was reduced to 50% within a week.
• Have improvised video upload tool in sharechat using ffmpeg. The system now efficiently handles large sized videos(in GBs). The api latency has reduced to one tenth for average size videos(~50MB).
• Was part of the team which was responsible for breaking Sharechat’s monolithic code into microservices. Have implemented initial versions of microservices like follow-service, search-service.
