• ★Worked on the optimization of the ProSource Oracle Database updating process by creating scheduled batch jobs
• Successfully created and deployed a batch script to automate the execution of roll-up scripts(SQL Scripts that update the database with daily data), scheduled to run on a daily basis.
• The execution process existed as a promising task for the data loaders as they had to manually execute each script in order to update the database.
• ★Worked on the Oracle Database, and analyzed the various core schema's created through the ProSource software, under the proprietorship of Schlumberger
• Created extended schema over the already existing Sea-Bed Data Model, in order to store data fields not being captured by the current relations in the existing schema .
• Successfully automated the process of populating relations in the extended schema. The process of populating the relations is handled by SQL*Plus scripts that are executed by the SQL Loader and the automation of this process is handled by batch scripts that initiate command line execution for SQL Loader.
• ★Worked on the development of a method to secure Daily Production and Daily Drilling data from existing Operator's reports.
• Created Python scripts to extract Daily Production data and Daily Drilling data from the Daily Production Reports and Daily Drilling Reports(used relatively new python libraries like Camelot , Pandas and Matplotlib to extract and analyze data ) from unstructured data representation to structured data representation.
• Created Python scripts to clean the extracted data
• and prepare it for automatic export to the relations in the extended-schema.
