Started the Internship by learning about Jenkins and its usage, Jenkins Pipeline, and its declarative syntax.

Old application had only one Docker container which was the primary container. So, added a second container, which is the Nginx container, and set it up in such a way that it acts as a reverse proxy server to our main container.
Set up Nginx to perform the job of compression of the response instead of our node application.
For deployment, used Spinnaker to build a pipeline so that deployment automatically takes place as soon as a commit is made to the branch. Set up Various Jenkins jobs for each stage of the pipeline.
Also made a Clouformation.yml file to deploy the multi-container application on AWS. The file had all the details about the stack to be created on AWS including the VPC, Subnets, SecurityGroups, SecretManagerResources, TaskDefinition which had all the container definitions, AWS ECS Service, TargetGroups and LoadBalancer.
After deploying the multi-container application, used Apache JMeter for performance testing of the application
