I am part of the data engineering team here, currently leading two products of the realtime data module and mentoring a team of two software engineers. My contributions are as follows:
Set up druid infrastructure (open source horizontally scalable column oriented datastore) from scratch to ingest logs from kafka and hadoop using lambda architecture. At peak it handles close to 300k realtime messages.
Developed a querying platform using ETL framework in java. The platform supports user authentication, load distribution and other key database features. Currently supporting over 100 concurrent queries on large chunks of data.
Designed and implemented an anomaly detection system to find anomalies in hourly/weekly aggregated revenue data using multivariate regression and find probable causes for the same.
