• Web Crawler
• This projects comprise of a generic web-crawler that crawl and scrape data of Indian Academicians, practicing teaching in foreign university, from web pages of foreign universities. Web Crawler is so designed so as to be flexible, robust, frugal and to respect and follow the standard conventions for robot exclusion. Further, It uses Vector Space Model for ranking the web pages according to their relevance and uses Machine learning paradigm based, Rocchio feedback, to further improve relevance of rankings.
Technologies Used:
• Mongo DB is used for preparing the database.
• Libraries like beautiful soup, lemmatizer, selenium, stemming and many others are being used.
