I am finishing a Master of Science in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Southern California, where I work on generative artificial intelligence for navigation. I also have a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where I graduated with academic excellence. I have three years of work experience in the AI field. I previously worked as an AI Researcher at USC, where I developed state-of-the-art VLLMs coupled with retrieval augmented generation and experience replay for retrieval tasks. Before that, I worked as an MLE at Enphase Energy for two years, where I helped develop their proprietary CV-guided solar design tool. I have strong analytical, prediction, and presentation skills and am always eager to learn new techniques and collaborate with diverse teams.

I was part of a research group which formulated and implemented an aspect-and-opinion mining system from restaurant reviews dataset, focusing on the identification of aspects which were inferred from opinions. The system employed the use of linguistic patterns, word co-occurrence information and dependency grammar to identify and prune candidate opinion-aspect relations. To improve generalization of aspect identification, I used hierarchical modelling of aspects for identifying opinion correspondence.
