• I work in the Flipkart Seller Catalogue team and am responsible for managing some of the most critical projects within the team.
• One of my major contributions is the development of Maia, an inference system that orchestrates the utilization of various machine learning models. Maia is used for tasks like Auto Quality Checks for seller images and data, seller image enhancement, attribute extraction, and product similarity checks. It supports both asynchronous and synchronous architecture, incorporates rate limiting, and handles image enhancement and processing model predictions for requests.
• Furthermore, I have played a key role in the development of the Computer Vision Platform (CVP), where I have created services and model training workflows. These enable non-data scientists to develop models for E-commerce use cases by providing datasets and a few model training attributes. CVP generates data science models and puts them into production, which are then used in the AutoQC flows.
• In addition to my core responsibilities, I handle the on-call duties for the entire seller catalogue, which encompasses more than 80 services. I have expertise in various technologies and frameworks such as Java Excalibur, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, HBase, Hadoop cluster, Redis, ZooKeeper, Kubernetes (K8s), Apache Camel, and Python Flask.
