Working on cross-talk mitigation techniques. This involves deep understanding of information theory , linear algebra and statistical signal processing.

• I was involved in the research and development of a handwritting recognition system. I worked with a small but enthusiastic group on the development of the state-of-the-art algorithm for offline and online handwritting recognition. The position involved leading a team of 3/4 to estimate and develop various feature extraction and probability models for the system. This work required fairly decent understanding of statistics, pattern recognition and machine learning.
