Vinay Baghela — Director of Engineering

An entrepreneur and a people person, I look to create value in my community in one way or another. I represent a visionary mindset, with an optimistic outlook towards the potential of people who work around me. My work ethics include a high inclination towards the quality of the process and adherence to deadlines. Having had a small share of entrepreneurial experiments, alongside a lot of networking efforts. Building on my industry and academic experience my research interests are broadly focused on Natural Language Processing, Soft Computing, Computational Social Science, and Machine Learning (ML). My work in these areas has been presented at several top-tier NLP and AI conferences including ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, WWW, ACM Multimedia, Interspeech, ICWSM, ICASSP, and more. I also serve as a reviewer and host for sessions in some of these conferences and like to contribute back to the research community. I am looking for motivated scholars who can work with me in the area of research. I am looking forward to working with candidates who have some experience in the following areas: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Soft Computing, and Neural Networks.
