As a Software Consultant 2 at Guidewire Software, I’ve spent the last 3 years building modern digital applications for insurance companies across both the AMER and EMEA regions. My work spans full-stack development — creating RESTful APIs and services using Java (Gosu), and developing responsive, component-based UIs with Jutro, Guidewire’s React-based framework. I also focus on integrating third-party services and delivering seamless user experiences tailored to the insurance domain. This hands-on experience has given me a strong understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, enhancing my ability to translate business needs into scalable, performant applications. Prior to my current role, I worked on developing enterprise-grade applications across diverse sectors, E-commerce, Retail and Healthcare. And yes — I’ve made peace with AI. In fact, I’ve embraced it to become even more productive, using it as a helpful sidekick for everything from understanding complex code & to brainstorming new ideas.
