  • Derivation of Financial and Demographic assumptions using the methodology given in the Statement of Funding Principles.
  • Liability estimation on different bases - Last time's Ongoing basis, Current Ongoing basis, Sensitivities, Solvency basis, PPF Basis etc.
  • Check the liability from the tool manually - Individual member checks, Global checks, Change of Basis Checks, Roll Forward checks - using pen and paper/excel
  • Sensitivity analysis to determine impact caused by change in each assumption parameter.
  • Preparing Valuation report on the basis of assumption finalized by scheme Actuary.
  • Working on the accounting disclosures as per FRS-17 and IASR-19 UK standards.
  • Ad-Hoc Works including calculation of Transfer values for individual members, accounting disclosure, funding update, change of basis checks etc.
