• At Synacor, I own the India Engineering team for the Zimbra suite of collaboration products. I provide the technical leadership for our Pune based team. My day to day job includes making sure that the path to building new products is obstacle free. Our team innovates every day to conceive, build new collaboration products: both from the server side and frontend point of view. Some of the technologies we use: Containers, Kubernetes, PReact, Redux, GraphQL to name a few.

• Rakya (www.rakya.com) is an emerging company that builds healthcare products. It was started with a bigger social goal: to save lives by using technology in the needy hours of a patient. We have helped more than 150 hospitals transition from 'pen and paper' based workflows to a 'matured Information Technology' based hospital.
• As the CTO, my charter includes complete ownership of Product Development and R&D. I am responsible for the technology roadmap for our product suite. Rakya's product offerings include On-premise solutions, Cloud Integration, Analytics for doctors and mobile based dashboards for Administrators. I am also the chief technical mentor for technical teams in product development and professional services. My charter also includes building a high performance technology team that can take the company to the next level.
• As a co-founder, I am part of the executive team that takes short term and long term business decisions in the company. I am the interface with the investors on Product Development and R&D issues.
• I am also part of the ACM Eminent Speaker Program. I love to go out and talk about technology

• At Mediaocean I have been responsible for designing and implementing complex web applications. The development platform is Spring and related technologies. I interacted with Product Management to finalize the features the user workflows. As part of senior technical leadership I was also involved in building proof of concept projects for testing new technologies and incorporating them into product lines. As part of being a member of the senior leadership team in the India office, I mentored teams and established myself as a go-to person on technological landscape.

• At Persistent I worked with a marquee customer to develop an Enterprise Social Software product. To start with I helped with architecting features on the product. I also helped the customer to layout the go to market strategy for this product: this includes Use Case consulting, Conducting Collaboration Workshops, Adoption Consulting and planning deployments.
• Some highlights of my other contributions at Persistent:
• Product Architecture Leadership: I have worked extensively on building software products from ground up and also improving existing ones. I have been instrumental in laying out the Non Functional Requirements (NFRs), assessing their impact on product architecture and ensuring that the new products meet these goals. The products I worked on included J2EE systems and Open Source platform based systems. Many of these engagements involved visiting customer sites and working closely with their senior technical staff.
• Internal IP Development: In addition to client projects, I also headed Persistent’s internal IP development program in collaboration. I helped drive various ideas - notably around Email Search, Web Services based integrations, Contacts Management and Project Collaboration / Management software.

• Technical Pre-Sales: I have been a key driver to the pre-sales activities in the Collaboration BU. I contribute, review and supervise proposals to clients. Further I also work on Proof of Concept projects / demos to project sponsors / to win their trust and to covert them to long term projects.
• Organizational Delivery Excellence: In this role I took our learning and best practices from live projects to the rest of the organization. I set standards for other projects to follow. This helps in productivity improvements since other teams do not spend time in re-discovering the same solutions.
