I bring a diverse background that includes leadership, academic achievement, woman in a male dominated field, and community leadership. I've earned accolades for my work as a Physicist, Woman in STEM, served as a mentor to emerging professionals, and dedicated time to volunteering with organizations uplifting underprivileged communities. I am a trailblazer who is lauded as the second African American woman to earn a Ph. D. in Physics in the state of Alabama and the first woman to receive a BS in Physics from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
