My life goal is to be a smart thinker. My journey has been a thrilling blend of science, entrepreneurship, and creating impact. For the last 4 years I've been dedicated to empowering start-ups to succeed and still continue to do so. Through my tenure at incubation centres, I've witnessed first hand, the power of ideas and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Now, at Nasscom, we're building a robust ecosystem where Indian Deep Tech start-ups can flourish. Our audacious goal is to foster a thriving ecosystem of at least 10,000 world-class Deep Tech start-ups in India by 2030. My role in achieving this goal is by connecting deep tech innovations with capital. I accomplish this by curating a comprehensive VC database and contributing to the development of a patient capital framework. Prior to this, as Program Coordinator at AIC - CCMB, I spearheaded the Govt. of India DBT-BIRAC SPARSH fellowship program, nurturing innovative maternal and child health solutions. My responsibilities were designing workshops, conducting milestone reviews, facilitating strategic mentoring, and managing program documentation. This hands-on approach resulted in the registration of four start-ups and successful follow-on funding, driving tangible innovation in the healthcare sector. At C-CAMP, I successfully managed life-science accelerator programs and entrepreneurial events, including a national-level competition that attracted over 2300 applications from start-ups and students. My responsibilities extended to coordinating diverse initiatives across start-up advancement, investor connections, and student engagement, effectively amplifying the centre's impact across multiple verticals in the life sciences ecosystem. A storyteller at heart, I'm passionate about crafting compelling narratives and building vibrant communities. I love diving into the world of social media and exploring how we can leverage it for growth. I'm always eager to connect with diverse people and learn about their professional journeys.
