• The study is divided into three parts. (1) Pre-Feasibility: This Study includes ascertain and analyze the demand and supply of oil products in the future and location selection. (2) Feasibility: This Study includes selection of crude mix, size of the refinery, production schedule, revenue schedule and statutory approvals required during the project. The study is undertaken for two different capacities 9 MMTPA (Million Metric Tonne Per Annum) and 15 MMTPA. (3) Detailed Feasibility: This study includes estimating capital cost, cap-ex phasing, debt drawdown schedule and repayment schedule. The study also includes Profit & Loss account schedule and sensitivity analysis for both capacities of refinery.
• The project discusses the pricing of petroleum products in India and setting up crude oil processing refinery in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) or Non-Special Economic Zone. The project concludes with 15 MMTPA in non-SEZ is the most commercially viable and feasible option in the recent scenario.
