I work as a Research Officer at Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (A state counterpart of NITI Aayog), Working primarily in the field of Policy Research in the domains of Education, Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change, also coordinating World Bank Projects like Maha_STRIDE and the Maharashtra Resilience Development Program. Previously I’ve worked as A Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow (MGNF) at Kolhapur district under the District Collector for 2 years. This propelled me to work in the field of Policy Implementation as well as policy research at the district level. The policies and schemes that are framed at the national level have to have resonance at the ground level, but many times due to the long chain of commands in bureaucracy, the purpose of a policy is lost. My role is to bring that connection with the vision via working in the District Skill Executive Committee and work towards bringing better managerial practices in the arena of Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. My most Significant Contribution was the Patgaon - Honey Village Project where I was a project lead and the project went on to receive India's Best Rural Tourism Award in Bronze Category in 2023. Before this, I was working in the 3KM a digital venture of SAKAL Media Group and Bulb and Key as a content curator and later producer. Having completed a Master's in Mass Communication and Journalism in 2021 from Abasaheb Garware College of Pune University I have also cracked the State Eligibility Test (SET) which allows me to be appointed as an Assistant Professor in the state of Maharashtra. I was always fascinated by the workings of the government system and what great impact it has on the lives of ordinary people. So, for me, it is the best place to be the agent of change. Working in government is no mundane task, it's challenging. But these difficult things help you grow, be better than before, and bring satisfaction. So breaking the barriers of the comfort zone is my MANTRA for life.
