I like words.  Words connect people. Conversations, stories, networks and partnerships are words that make my world.  In the Venture Capitalist space for the past year and a half, I enjoy communicating with the financial community, engaging with tech startups, targeting potential investors, and developing key investor messaging.  I am a big believer in the power of connecting and engaging with passionate people of different networks.  I was introduced to the world of startups, founders, and investors in 2014 through my previous role at YourStory. And through YourStory, I interviewed over 1000 CEOs, women entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and change makers. I nurtured and built HerStory, the women-centric vertical of YourStory that celebrates stories of incredible, inspiring women everywhere. I have, over the past few years, pushed the agenda for change through facilitating dialogue and building a community for the brand.  A shining moment in my own life was the privilege to join young change-makers and leaders in India when I was invited to the Obama Town Hall in 2017.  I firmly believe there are four things crucial in life: the willingness to make a change, the strength to love, the conviction to grow, unlearn and relearn, and the quest to be a better and improved version of oneself.
