  • I had the opportunity to witness, learn & have hands-on experience at the Bailadila range of mines which is perched on the southern tip of Chhattisgarh in South Bastar District. “Bailadila” literally means the hump of an Ox. The range of hills derives their names from the shape of hills, which is like the hump of an Ox. Some of its deposits are very rich in iron ore content and are rated one of the best in the world.
